4-H Program

Discover, learn and have fun in 4-H!

4-H is a youth development program that focuses on experiential learning. It is also a community of young people who are learning citizenship, leadership and life skills.

How can we experience 4-H in Tuolumne County?

Community Clubs offer a wide variety of projects for members in the 4th grade through age 19.  There are also special projects for primary members in the 2nd and 3rd grades.

PM Clubs, in collaboration with Senior Youth Partnership, operate at eight elementary schools and provide afterschool activities for children of working parents.

Classroom Science Projects such as embryology and vermi-composting are taught by 4-H at local elementary schools.

For information about these programs, please contact the 4-H Youth Development Program Manager at (209) 533-6990.

The 4-H Pledge:  As a true 4-H member, I pledge my HEAD to clearer thinking, my HEART to greater loyalty, my HANDS to larger service and my HEALTH to better living for my club, my community, my country and my world.
